Beautiful handmade knife Forget from Wroght iron cladding and Japan V-toku2 (blue paper steel 2) carbon steel core.
Laminated steel (san mai) blade is forge weld from soft iron outside layer and carbon steel core.

To recycle wrought iron has to turn over many times and change the shape, so it comes out Damascus pattern naturally. It costs much more (everything is not useable, and it takes much more times to make wrought iron than just using ordinary Nantetsu from contemporary steel that is made by steel or iron manufacture company.

Handle is made from Holme Oak wood and is pinning with traditional method to the tang with copper rivet to joint tang and handle together that's make strong and secure fixing.
Handle is polish with carnauba wax. Bolster is made from brass

Sheath:
Leather sheath is wet formed to fit each knife individually. Each sheath is custom made and hand stitched using saddle stitch and waxed linen thread. Each knife sheath is individually dyed with water based dyes. Is custom made for this knife from 3mm full grain cow hide, Ox blood tan finish of course handmade by my.

Please note! This is a carbon steel knife and therefore not stainless. Unless dried after dishing it will rust, so you must use some oil to preserve it. Knife is very sharp.
