Shipping & Delivery Policy
At Hull Knives and Tools, we aim to dispatch your order as quickly and safely as possible.
Order Processing
- Orders are normally dispatched within 1–5 working days after payment has been received.
- If there is an unexpected delay, we will contact you as soon as possible with an updated dispatch estimate. If the revised dispatch date is not acceptable, you may cancel your order for a full refund before it is dispatched.
- You will receive a dispatch confirmation email once your order has been shipped.
Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times begin from the date your order is dispatched.

These are estimated delivery times only and are not guaranteed. Delivery may take longer during public holidays, adverse weather, customs clearance, industrial action, or periods of exceptionally high demand.
To comply with UK consumer legislation, the latest delivery date will be:
- Within 21 days of your order for UK deliveries.
- Within 8 weeks of your order for international deliveries.
If we are unable to meet these timescales, we will contact you to agree an alternative delivery date or offer you the option to cancel your order for a full refund.
Delivery Address
Please ensure your delivery address is correct when placing your order.
For security reasons, we can only dispatch orders to the address provided during checkout. If you need to change your delivery address after placing an order, we may need to cancel the order so that a new order can be placed with the correct details.
Age-Restricted Products
Many knives and edged tools are subject to UK age verification legislation.
You must be 18 years or older to purchase age-restricted products. We may require proof of age before dispatch or on delivery. Deliveries may require an adult signature and age verification where required by law.
International Orders
Customers outside the United Kingdom are responsible for ensuring that the products they order are legal to import into their country.
The customer is responsible for any import duties, customs charges, taxes, brokerage fees, or other local charges that may apply. These charges are not included in the purchase price unless explicitly stated.
Delivery Delays
Once an order has been handed to the carrier, delivery is outside our direct control. While we will assist in resolving delivery issues wherever possible, we cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by:
- Customs inspections
- Severe weather
- Postal or courier disruption
- Industrial action
- Incorrect delivery information supplied by the customer
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Lost or Damaged Parcels
If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and, where possible, retain the packaging and provide photographs of the damage.
If your parcel has not arrived within a reasonable period after dispatch, please contact us so we can investigate with the courier.
