Hand Forged in coal forge Kiridashi

The kiridashi is a knife good for everyday use in a craftsman's workshop- Woodworking, Leather working, Bookbinding, Luthier also good for Japan Natural Stone testing.

This kiridashi is hand forged from 26c3 ( A common comparison point for 26C3 is Hitachi White #1 -Shirogami #1) carbon steel and for backing material I use wrought iron. Single bevel ( Ni Mai ) cutting edge has kasumi finish.

Edge: 4 cm

IMPRTANT this kiridashi is NOT made from pre-laminated steel. This knife isn`t mass production item its a piece of art, handmade by myself.

Please note! This is a carbon steel knife and therefore not stainless. Unless dried after washing, it will rust, so you must use some oil to preserve it. Knife is very sharp.
