Blade: 5100 carbon steel blade. Heat treated in molten salt. Flat grind cutting edge. Thin blade for less resistance when carving

How to sharpen wood carving knives:

For the best result and cutting performance of the blade, we recommend using a grinding stone with a maximum grit of 320 and honing the blade on the leather with a green polishing agent.
For soft wood or greenwood use low angles and for hard and dried wood add 3 degrees for best result and edge retention.
